The modernized SV class cars, first shown in August at the PRO//Dvizhenie.EXPO exhibition, have entered Russian Railways routes.
The first trains can already be seen on trains No. 19/20 “Quiet Don” (Rostov-on-Don – Moscow) and No. 11/12 (Anapa – Moscow). In the near future, new wars will appear in all compositions.
Each carriage has eight compartments with horizontal seating. Passengers can customize the lighting, tie up hand luggage on spacious closed shelves and hang outerwear on special hangers. For relaxation and entertainment, there are opening partitions with the ability to select content, ceiling lights, sockets and USB connectors, as well as a button to call the conductor.
The size of the sleeping places has increased to two meters – 16 centimeters more than the required length.
For the convenience of passengers, there is a separate room with a shower, hairdryer, ironing board and iron.
In the future, such wars will appear on other popular routes: between Moscow and Novorossiysk, Saransk, Voronezh, Tambov, Belgorod and St. Petersburg.
