Today, the Mir Pay application was removed from Google Play, and Samsung announced that in a week Samsung Pay will stop working in Russia.
This all led to the fact that… nothing has changed. Unlike iOS, Android can store apps, and they all have NFC access, so contactless payment still works.
Only 2-3 Samsung Pay users in Russia spend a few minutes to transfer their cards to another application.
1. Peace Pei
The Russian service works only with cards of the MIR payment system.
According to personal observations, this is currently the most popular application on Android for contactless payment.
It works quickly and is always stable. There are no serious shortcomings.

2. SberPay
If you can link any MIR card to Mir Pay, then SberPay is compatible only with MIR cards from Sberbank.
Apply beautifully and not slow down, which is very important for service departments.
SberPay is built into the Sberbank application on Android. You don’t need to download anything else.

3. Tinkoff Pei
Tinkoff Pay is built into the Tinkoff Bank application on Android. Support service only for MIR cards from Tinkoff.
In general, in its implementation the service is not much different from SberPay.

4. Alpha Pei
Alfa Pay is built into the Alfa Bank application. It only works with MIR cards from Alpha.
Otherwise, there are no differences from SberPay and Tinkoff Pay.

5. Yandex Pay
For Yandex Pay to work fully, you will need a similar card, which can be opened in the application. It works like a regular bank card.
You can add cards from other banks to Yandex Pay, but they will not work via NFC.

6. Gazprom Pay
Gazprom Pay is a separate application for contactless payment, which can only be used by Gazprom Bank clients.
The service does not work with cards from other banks.

You can pay for purchases as before
As you can see, removing Mir Pay from Google Play and blocking Samsung Pay does not greatly affect payments.
On Android, it is impossible to block access to NFC and you can save applications from any source. It’s good that our developers are actively using this.
