The legal entity of the Whoosh kicksharing service, PJSC VUSH Holding, as part of the buyback program in December, repurchased its shares in the amount of 35.99 million rubles, and from the beginning of 2024 – for another 23.98 million rubles . This is reported in the company’s financial statements under IFRS.

In units, the company acquired 174,372 shares in December, which represents approximately 0.16% of the authorized capital. The company purchased another 95 thousand shares (approximately 0.09%) for the period from January 1 to March 25, 2024.
Thus, in total, the company spent 59.97 million rubles on the purchase.
As of March 27, 2024, the company purchased 269 thousand securities, as follows from the company’s materials.
The board of directors of VUSH Holding approved the buyback program in November 2023. The maximum number of shares for buyback is 1.5 million (approximately 1.35% of the authorized capital), which is one-third of the requirement for the options program. The presentation of the 2023 financial statements indicates that the current plan is to repurchase around 1 million securities.
The buyback program will last until May 31, 2025. The purchased documents are used for the long-term employee motivation program, which was also approved in November. It is planned to buy back no more than 4.5 million securities (approximately 4% of the authorized capital).
Whoosh develops technological solutions for micromobility transportation and is one of the largest Russian operators of the kick-sharing service of the same name.
