Investments in the Moscow economy at the end of 2023 amounted to about 6.8 trillion rubles. This was announced by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, on his Telegram channel.

“This is 3.8% more in comparable prices than in 2022,” Sobyanin explained.
Most of the investments (33.4%) went to the production of machinery and equipment.
28.2% was invested in the construction of non-residential buildings, structures and landscaping.
The research, development and innovation sector attracted 16.5% and the construction of buildings and residential premises, 18.8%.
Rosstat estimated inflation in the Russian Federation in 2023 at 7.42%. In 2022 it was 11.94%.
The increase in the number of small and medium-sized businesses in Moscow has already been known: at the beginning of March this year their number amounted to 908,000, an increase of 6.3% compared to March 2023.
