The Litros book service began operating in Turkey on April 3, the company said. Users have access to the liters-tr.com website and a mobile application for iOS and Android operating systems.

The catalog will include more than 3,000 titles in Turkish and there will also be books in Russian, Azerbaijani and other languages. By the end of 2024, it is planned to expand the range to 10,000 e-books and audiobooks.
Currently, the service has concluded contracts with 15 domestic publishers, including Can Yayınları, Notos Kitap, İthaki Yayınları, Maya Kitap and Altın Kitaplar. Books can be purchased individually (ppd) on the website (payment via Visa and Mastercard payment systems is supported) and in the mobile application.
The Turkish version of the service includes features such as the ability to create and maintain your own library of purchased books, leave bookmarks, save your favorite quotes to your personal collection, read or listen to an introductory fragment.
“In the last two years we have actively developed in the countries of the Turkish language group: we launched businesses in Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan and there we collect the largest catalogs of e-books and audiobooks. The Turkish market is the largest among the latest launches. According to our forecasts, the capacity of the digital book market in Turkey in the next 3 to 5 years could reach more than 50-60 million dollars per year,” said Liters CEO Sergei Anuriev, quoted in the press service. .
Over the past year and a half, Turkey has become the third foreign market, after Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, that Liters has entered with localized content.
At the same time, in October last year, the Liters group of companies sold control of the Estonian Digital Book Center platform, which is engaged in wholesale trade of e-books in the Baltic countries.
