In the first quarter of 2024, demand for Russian IT specialists for residence permit programs in Europe increased by 233%. The most popular country is France, which accounted for 80% of applications, according to data from the Garant In agency, reviewed by Kommersant.

Analysts explained that France has become a leader on this issue due to the absence of a residency requirement in the country. Furthermore, to obtain a residence permit it is not necessary to invest money, you only need to confirm your income.
The revenue of Russian IT companies at the end of 2023 increased by 43% compared to 2022 and reached 5.5 trillion rubles. The increase in income was facilitated by the effective development and implementation of solutions, noted the head of the Ministry of Digital Development, Maksut Shadayev.
