What are zero-day attacks? Imagine a hole in your phone’s software; A hole that Apple didn’t even know existed. This is a zero-day exploit, and hackers can use it to gain access to your device without you even knowing. These types of vulnerabilities are very valuable because they can be used to steal data or spy on people.

Crowdfense offers much more than before because Apple and Google have gotten better at patching security vulnerabilities. Hackers have to work harder to find these vulnerabilities, making them more costly.

Apple itself offers a bounty program but only pays up to $2 million for finding vulnerabilities.
