Apple plans to introduce new Macs this year with M4 processors that will focus on artificial intelligence, Bloomberg reports.

The M4 will come in at least three main variants. These are probably the M4, M4 Pro and M4 Max.

In 2024, Apple wants to release new iMacs, MacBook Pros and Mac minis on the M4. The M4 should receive a MacBook Air in the spring of 2025, a Mac Studio in the summer, and a Mac Pro in the fall.

Apple’s M4 processors will “emphasize the components’ AI processing capabilities and their integration with the current macOS brand.”

Apple also intends to seriously upgrade the performance of the Mac Pro with the help of a new chip and 512 GB of RAM. The Mac Pro currently supports a maximum of 192GB of RAM. [Bloomberg]
