According to the results of the first closed stage of testing, more than half a million people explored the capabilities of AI, the company claims. The most popular functions were the summary of letters in Mail, as well as the generation of greetings in the Calendar. They were used by 47.8% and 33.4% of users, respectively.

The summary allows you to compile a brief account of the incoming letter, highlighting key points. And greetings generator creates text for any festive event.

Most often, owners of iOS smartphones tried new features – more than 52%.

The open beta test will be the second step towards the full launch of generative neural networks in the company’s services, notes Dmitry Merkushov, head of the Mail.ru machine learning group.

To start working with the neural network, you need to go to the Mail or Calendar app or open Cloud or Notes in the browser and look for the generation sign.
