The device’s documentation states that the drive “can meet the needs of film crews and other companies to store all their data on-site when network connections are too slow or the cost of data transfer is too high.”
The Ultrastar Transporter connects to the network using 200GbE via two QSFP112 ports. Additionally, the device has a built-in 10 Gigabit Ethernet interface via the RJ45 connector.
