1. Cancel messages and change iMessages

A recipient with an updated version of the system will see a text usage flag, but only an updated message will be possible. But the owners of old systems will see both the old and the new text.
Of course, these options have nothing to do with SMS messages. They do not require the ability to be deallocated or deleted.
2. Recover deleted messages
The option works a little differently than you might expect and is not activated in the most obvious way.
You will not be able to restore a message deleted using special chips. We are talking about restoring completely deleted correspondence.

Only after that, a section with fresh deleted dialogues will appear in the list of available correspondence. The chat is complete. If you corresponded with the subscriber alternately through SMS and iMessage – all message history will be deleted. The interlocutor will not notice any changes in his list of messages.

3. Mark correspondence unread
In my opinion, this is the most useful innovation for applications. Messages in iOS 16. The request chip allows you to mark the dialogue as unread, so that you don’t forget to forget the address later.
This is done extremely simply, you need to side-swipe on the correspondence to the right and it will be marked with a blue dot. It’s a bit more difficult to set fixed ones at the very top of the dialog list. To do this, hold down the avatar Suitable interlocutor and select the desired menu item.
Although the iMessage dialog has a read mark, the mark of the dialog as unread will not be found on it. The interlocutor will see the first time the dialogue opens. This is an exclusively local chip for personal use.

4. Scheduled email sending
Much more interesting ones appeared in the standard mail client. There, for example, it is possible to schedule the sending of a letter on a schedule.

5. Cancel email sender
The standard email client has finally learned useful features from popular external mailers for iPhone.
The new feature allows you to cancel only the sent letter if necessary.
This especially lacks appetizing animation or an attention-grabbing timer. After all, the cancellation of admission is available within 10 secondsafter which the button at the bottom of the screen disappears.
At the moment, the email that is being canceled disappears altogether with the device. It would make more sense to move around in drafts or nearby for holding. Perhaps, in anticipation of the version of the system, they will finalize it.
6. Reminder to reply to email
As in the case with iMessage, it became possible not only to mark the correspondence unread, but also to set it as a keepsake. It will be useful not to return to the letter and reply to it.

A new section will appear in the general list of folders soon Remind. In it, you can view the letter and cancel the scheduled.
