A dangerous vulnerability has been discovered in iMessage that Apple is not aware of. About it reported in the Trust Wallet crypto wallet account in X.
According to the creators of Trust Wallet, a zero-day exploit for iMessage is being sold on the dark web, which can penetrate the iPhone without clicking on a link (probably through an incoming message). The developers recommend disabling iMessage until Apple fixes the bug.
Trust Wallet CEO Eowyn Chen posted A screenshot from the darknet showing the community price of $2 million for the exploit. Chen added that such vulnerabilities could be used to hack the iPhones of individual users who store many cryptocurrencies.
However, users met the vulnerability and exploit with skepticism because no other details were available. It is not known for sure whether this exploit even exists.
If this is your “true information” then it’s a shame. You don’t have proof of an iOS exploit, you have a screenshot of a guy claiming to have an exploit. Huge difference.
