The online hotel and apartment booking service Ostrovok has started working with individuals: now apartment and house owners will be able to publish their offers on the site. A representative of the service reported this to RB.RU.

Ostrovok already cooperates with legal entities, individual entrepreneurs and freelancers. According to the plans, the connection of private owners should provide better coverage, especially in popular and remote regions of the country.
According to the service’s estimates, the accommodation database can be filled with hundreds of thousands of apartments and houses in six months.
To start renting an apartment or house in Ostrovka, the owner must register on the service’s extranet, confirm his identity, enter data about the property and go through video verification. The service will transfer money to the owner’s bank card.
The standard booking fee is 15%. At the same time, individuals continue to declare property rental taxes independently.
- Ostrovok, according to its own data, offers its customers more than 2.5 million options in hotels, hostels, apartments, apartments from direct suppliers and partners. The site’s monthly traffic exceeds 20 million.
