Previously, Sologub, in connection with the inclusion of the retailer in the list of economically significant organizations (ESO), requested the suspension of the corporate rights of the Cypriot structure in relation to the Russian subsidiary.
The petition was filed in early April and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce participated as a third party in the case. This department, together with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Energy, has the authority to go to court with a lawsuit to suspend the corporate rights of foreign owners in relation to their Russian subsidiaries from the EZO list.
In early April, Alfa-Bank and AlfaStrakhovanie were added to this list, after which the Ministry of Finance began the suspension of the rights of companies with foreign participation.
The day before, the Arbitration Court of the Moscow Region fully accepted a similar request from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Dutch group X5 Retail Group NV and its Russian structure.
