These apps were advertised on Instagram*, and some ads took the user directly to the App Store. 404 Media sent Apple not only a description of the advertising strategy of the authors of such ads, but also all links that could be used to get to the download pages of these products in the App Store.

As a result, Apple removed three of the apps found so far on the grounds that they “could create nude images without user consent.” Otherwise, the authors of the report from 404 Media are perplexed because without their activities Apple does not take any action and allegedly cannot find such applications.
