These words of the politician are quoted by Reuters. Li Qiang also expressed his hope for further fruitful partnership between the countries in line with “equal cooperation and mutual benefit.”
The politician made statements during an unannounced meeting with Elon Musk. The American businessman, for his part, highlighted that the plant in China is the best of his company’s production facilities.
According to Reuters, Elon Musk arrived in China on April 28 to discuss with senior officials the issue of introducing Tesla’s Autopilot to the local market.
The reason for the visit was the 18th Auto China International Motor Show 2024, which will be held in Beijing until May 4.
