Huawei is developing a new Kirin processor for PCs that will be made entirely in China, an anonymous source said on Weibo.

The chip will consist of an 8-core CPU with a frequency of 2.5 GHz and 10-core graphics.

In Geekbench 6, the new chip scored 11,640 points in the multi-core test. Approximately the same result is shown by the Apple M2, released in 2022, and the Intel Core i7-13700H, introduced last year.

The Huawei processor will support up to 32 GB of LPDDR5-6400 RAM with 100 GB/s bandwidth, up to 2 TB SSD and three USB-4 ports.

It is worth noting that the stated performance of unannounced Huawei chips was often higher than the quality. Additionally, there is no evidence of this leak. [Gizmochina]
