Electric car maker Tesla is preparing to launch its own voice assistant. Electrek writes about this.

Researchers have found confirmation of the company’s plans in the code of Tesla’s latest electric vehicle software update. According to the publication, voice assistant functions have been added to the code, which is activated by a “wake up” word and speaks in the voice of Microsoft’s Jenny Neutral.

In July 2023, Elon Musk founded the artificial intelligence startup xAI, which developed the Grok chatbot. The tech startup could be involved in developing a voice assistant for Tesla.
