Milonov recalled that in recent years foreign dating services have abandoned the Russian market and added that the demand for online dating remains.
“Unfortunately, this industry is full of all kinds of apps and services that offer assistance not in finding a reliable life partner and potential spouse, but in meeting basic sexual needs and finding a sexual partner for one or two nights,” he said. Milonov.
He considers that “a proven and reliable application” is needed, which, in his opinion, could be the State Services portal. Milonov believes that through this service “people can safely and comfortably search for a partner, get to know each other and find their favorite life partner.”
Milonov is not the first to consider it necessary to create a Russian analogue of Tinder.
Yandex is developing its own dating app, Russian developers also launched the Flero dating app, and at the end of November 2023, the HSE graduates’ Twinby online dating app entered the top 1 of the Russian App Store.
