This innovation turns it into a device reminiscent of the Nintendo DS in design.
For the modification, a Wimaxit M728 IPS screen with a size of 7” and a resolution of 1024 × 600 pixels was used.
The second display connects to the USB Type-C port via an HDMI adapter. A special feature of the modification is a hinge that allows you to fold the device like a clamshell.
When not in use, the second screen can be folded and turned into a convenient stand.
To implement this change, it was necessary to produce a new back cover for the console, created using 3D printing.
The enthusiast shared the details of the project on Github, where he explained the necessary components and connection process.
