The Ace is expected to cost around $450 and compete with Sony and Bose. The Verge writes that it will feature Sonos’ industry-leading active noise cancellation and transparency modes, as well as support for lossless audio playback over Bluetooth.

For spatial audio lovers, Ace offers dynamic head tracking and compatibility with Dolby Atmos content. The headphones also feature Apple-inspired magnetic ear cushions for easy replacement and a lightweight design for long-lasting comfort. Battery life is 30 hours.

Interestingly, the level of integration with the existing Sonos ecosystem remains unclear. While it has been confirmed that audio can be listened to from the TV, features such as Wi-Fi streaming or the ability to listen to audio from multiple devices have not yet been announced.

Wired connectivity is provided via 3.5mm jack and USB-C cable.

An official announcement is likely imminent, with a potential launch in June.
