The Truecaller app will use artificial intelligence (AI) to transcribe your voice and answer calls for you. Powered by Microsoft Azure AI Speech, the tool will complement the app’s AI Assistant, but now responds to calls convincingly.
AI opening in September 2022 Truecaller Assistant answers calls to your phone and when you can’t talk at that moment, it asks questions for you by writing down the most important things in that conversation. The tool also helps you avoid spam or unwanted calls.
With Azure AI Speech, AI Assistant goes even further: the tool will now use AI to create a digital copy of the user’s voice, making interaction more natural. The functionality was demonstrated at the Microsoft Build conference this week.
According to Truecaller, new feature gives the assistant more personality“sounds realistic” and makes call management easier.
