SDEK user data is securely stored in encrypted form. This was reported by the company’s press service, commenting on a possible data leak.

“We have no reason to believe that they have been accessed,” the SDEK press service said.

A major disruption in the work of the logistics company SDEK began on May 27 and continues for the third day. On May 28, the SDEK website was partially operational, and on May 29 the points resumed issuing ready-made items.

It was reported that the cause of the SDEK failure could be an encryption virus. Ransomware enters the system in several ways: most often, users download it via email or other messages, less often the system is hacked.
