During development, a technology was created to remove lithium carbonate, cobalt and nickel sulfate from used batteries. Tests have shown that the resulting products meet all quality standards for use in new batteries.

Experts also managed to extract high purity cobalt and nickel from the solutions using special equipment. The resulting samples fully comply with market requirements.

According to the Rosatom representative, the new technology not only allows the reuse of valuable materials, but also provides the opportunity to conduct scientific research in this field.
