Trade turnover between Tajikistan and Russia in January-April increased by 24.2% compared to the same period in 2023. It reached almost $637 million. Details are provided by the Statistics Agency of the President of Tajikistan.

As for the volume of exports from Tajikistan to Russia, during this period it amounted to 36.1 million dollars, imports to more than 600 million dollars.
It should be noted that the indicators began to grow in 2023, but then the total volume of trade between our countries increased by only 2.5% and reached a total of 1.8 billion dollars.
The second and third places in the ranking of Tajikistan’s main trading partners are China (548.7 million dollars) and Kazakhstan (441.6 million dollars).
We previously wrote that the trade turnover between the Russian Federation and neighboring Asian countries reached a record of $56.2 billion in 2023. The leaders then were Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Armenia.
