Masha Bucher did not reveal the names of the limited partners (Limited Partnership, LP), but said that among them were well-known American and European institutional investors, founders of “unicorns”, etc. Day One Ventures managed 11 million dollars five years ago, now – 450 million dollars

“Our north star remains the same: we will continue to trust the most extraordinary founders of our time to work on the biggest projects,” Bucher wrote.

The third fund has already financed several projects, including the Californian ecological startup Rainmaker for cloud seeding.

Day One Ventures 1 was created at the end of 2017. Its size was 20 million dollars and the volume of a transaction ranged from 100,000 to 500 thousand dollars. The second fund of $52.5 million appeared in the fall of 2020. It allowed investments from $500 thousand to $5 million.
