While the company remains confident in the future potential of artificial intelligence solutions for voice ordering, the reasons for ending the cooperation with IBM were not fully disclosed. McDonald’s is reportedly moving towards a partnership with Google. The company’s AI has already been used by Wendy’s to place orders at McAuto counters, and the results are promising.

But according to media reports, McDonald’s continues to expand automation by introducing more self-service points, drone delivery, food processors and AI-powered recruiting tools.
