M.video-Eldorado plans to launch a batch of televisions under its own Hi and Carrera brands. The potential production volume will be up to 500 thousand units per year.
According to one of the publication’s interlocutors, the cost of assembling a device without including the cost can amount to between 4 and 6 dollars. The estimated volume of the network can be estimated at between 2 and 3 million dollars, or between 76.2 and 264.4 million rubles at the exchange rate of the Central Bank as of June 23, he calculated.
The VVP group planned to start production independently at the plant, but it turned out to be too expensive. Experts suggested that the company needs a contract with a third party largely to reduce the cost of its own production due to high production volumes.
