Apple has released new firmware for all AirPods models.
Now the current version:
• AirPods Pro (2nd generation): 6.5.8 (6F8).
• AirPods Pro (1st generation): 6A326.
• AirPods (3rd generation): 6A326.
• AirPods (2nd generation): 6A326.
• AirPods (1st generation): 6.8.8.
• AirPods Max: 6A326
In addition, Beats Fit Pro and Powerbeats Pro also received 6F8 updates.
What’s new in these updates is unknown. The company reports minor bug fixes and stability improvements.
AirPods update automatically when connected to your iPhone.
How to update AirPods faster
1. Connect headphones to iPhone
2. Put them in the case and connect them to the charger.
3. Wait 5 minutes
You can view the firmware version via Settings → General → About this device → AirPods.
