The company does not see the possibility of implementing these functions in such models, since the RAM and neural processor (NPU) are filled with other functions, such as object and gesture recognition. Therefore, there is no computing power for more advanced tasks.

At the same time, the NPU in the Apple A14 chip, for example, in the iPhone 12 is not inferior in characteristics to the neuroprocessor on the M1 platform in the iPhone 15 Pro, iPad and Mac. However, as mentioned above, Apple Intelligence will not work on such models because the NPU is loaded with other functions.

This also applies to the Vision Pro headset, which runs on the M2 chip. Although this chipset is more advanced than the flagships of the iPhone 15 series, the situation is the same in terms of NPU occupancy.
