The company’s general director, Igor Povarazdnyuk, emphasized that the foundations of the unmanned system have already been laid in the development phase. Atom will first be offered with the second level automatic driver assistance system (ADAS 2+) when production starts in 2025. This system includes 18 functions, including autonomous parking, lane keeping, adaptive cruise control and emergency braking.

But the company’s president stressed the importance of adapting technology to people’s real needs, avoiding making autonomy an end in itself.
