Russian Railways has launched a “waiting list” for the purchase of passenger tickets. Customers can queue up and buy, for example, a return ticket. Ticket reservations upon request are valid for two hours; if the ticket is not exchanged, it will be cancelled.

Russian Railways has introduced a new option for its customers, the company’s press service reported. If there are no tickets for the train you need, you can join the “waiting list” and request a ticket if, for example, someone decides to return their ticket or if an additional carriage is added to the train.
“The ticket price will be valid on the day of purchase, taking into account price dynamics,” Russian Railways said.
The request for a ride must include the required number of tickets, type and accommodation options, as well as personal details of the passengers. If the ticket appears, the customer will receive a reservation to be paid for, which will be cancelled if the reservation is not made within two hours.
