HE What’s up? working on 3D avatars for your application. In a future update, users will be able to choose between their face or “3D doll” during video calls. WABetaInfo.
In addition to video calls, these 3D avatars will be used to create “emojis” and custom stickers in the messaging app. We already have similar tools for this, for example noteespecially on devices appleand Bitmojis. However, this will be a native WhatsApp tool.
The feature is expected to come to both Android and iOS, but it hasn’t even been released yet in WhatsApp’s beta program. It is still under development, no release date, and the most we can see in the beta app right now is a button to turn your face into your avatar. If the person clicks on that option at that moment, nothing will happen.
3D avatars have arrived on many other social networks such as Facebook and Instagram. They’re available as “stickers” and emojis on these platforms, but they’re not “you” during video calls – at least for now.
There is also a community of content creators using 3D characters as servers on Youtube and Twitch. they were searched VTubers (short virtual youtubers) and has been popular mainly in the United States and Japan. However, creating one of them is more complicated as it involves more detailed modeling and animation programs.
