Zhigang said the Tianwen-2 mission to study asteroids will be launched in 2025. By 2030, the Tianwen-3 mission to study and collect samples on Mars and the Tianwen-4 mission to study Jupiter should be launched.
“China plans to launch the Tianwen-2 mission to explore asteroids by 2025, followed by the Tianwen-3 mission to collect samples from Mars, and the Tianwen-4 mission to explore the Jupiter system by 2030,” a space official said.
