The GeForce RTX 3050 features a GA106 architecture based on Samsung 8N process technology, with 12 billion transistors and a 276 mm2 die area.

The video card is equipped with 2560 shader units, 80 tensor cores, and 1777 MHz Boost frequency. The memory bandwidth is 224 GB/s, and the video memory is 8 GB GDDR6. The TDP of the video card is 130 W, and the current price is around $200.

The Radeon RX 6600 uses the Navi 23 architecture with 11.1 billion transistors and a 237 mm2 die area, built using TSMC N7 process technology.

It is equipped with 1792 shader units and 2491 MHz Boost frequency. The memory bandwidth is also 224 GB/s and the video memory is 8 GB GDDR6. The TDP of the graphics card is 132 W and the current price is around $200.

As a result, experts tested the devices in 11 games in native resolution and 8 games in 1080p, 2K and 4K resolution with ray tracing technology enabled.

At 1080p Ultra the RX 6600 performs better in most games at native resolution, but the RTX 3050 performs slightly better with ray tracing enabled.

At 2K Ultra resolution the RX 6600 continues to lead at native resolution by offering higher average FPS, but the RTX 3050 again wins slightly when ray tracing is enabled.

At 4K Ultra, both cards struggle, but the RX 6600 still performs better in most games.

As a result, the AMD graphics card performs better at native resolutions, making it the best choice for pure gaming workloads.

While the GeForce RTX 3050 lags behind in most games, it benefits from more stable drivers and improved DLSS technology, making it a more versatile choice for a variety of tasks.
