DJI has unveiled its own electric mountain bike, the Amflow PL.

Its frame is made of carbon fiber and has a removable 800Wh battery. It charges from 0 to 75% in 1.5 hours.

The bike weighs only 19.2 kg including the battery. Most of the weight is accounted for by the battery. The frame itself weighs 2.27 kg, and the DJI Avinox drive weighs 2.52 kg.

The Amflow PL has a 1000W motor and 120Nm of torque. This should be enough to calmly overcome even the steepest climbs. The bike has four pedal assist modes, including an automatic mode that adapts the power delivery depending on the resistance of the movement.

The bike frame has a two-inch OLED touchscreen display that shows information about the ride and the selected mode. Above the screen is a USB port for charging a smartphone or bike computer.

The front also features a Fox fork and the bike can be configured with either 27.5-inch or 29-inch wheels.

Amflow PL will go on sale in the fourth quarter of this year. Its price will be in the range between €7,000 and €12,000 (~666 thousand – 1 million rubles). The price will probably depend on the configuration and wheel size. [The Verge]
