According to the European statistics service, in the period January-April, supplies of smartphones from India to Russia increased by 14 times compared to the same period last year.

India has become one of the top three smartphone suppliers.

TelecomDaily CEO Denis Kuskov explains this by the active development of gadget production in India.

Gem Space Marketing Director Alexander Artyushenko notes that a significant part of production comes from orders placed for international brands such as Apple and Samsung.

For consumers, it doesn’t matter where a smartphone is made; it’s the features that matter. Indian brands like Lava and Micromax offer models with minimal functionality at lower prices.

For example, the flagship model Lava Agni 2 costs about 22,000 rubles and has good characteristics.
