The results showed that only 24.4% of respondents were willing to spend money on a new console to improve GTA 6 gameplay.
An overwhelming majority, 66.3%, said they would not consider buying a PS5 Pro for this game alone, with another 9.4% saying “maybe.”
The new installment of GTA will be available on Xbox Series X/S as well as the standard PS5, although the PlayStation 5 Pro will offer better graphics and presumably better performance.
PS5 Pro owners will be able to enjoy the best version of GTA 6 before the game launches on PC.
There have long been rumors that the PS5 Pro will be released by the end of 2024. The reveal of the new console is expected to take place in September at the Tokyo Games Show 2024 or at a separate online event.
