Hidden inside the console is powerful software with x86 processor architecture, which is optimized specifically for gaming: the interface and applications launch smoothly and without delay.

The Aurora operating system, which uses the Linux kernel, offers ample opportunities for integrating various applications and games. And such a console is becoming a promising product for further development and increased functionality.

“My joy simply knows no bounds, really, this is so great that it cannot be expressed in words,” Gladkov shared about his emotions.

Gladkov presented the first prototype of a Russian handheld gaming console. In the video he showed, the device was running the game Doom 3, released 20 years ago. He did not specify whether the console can run more modern projects.

We previously wrote that Rostelecom plans to integrate AI into the Aurora mobile operating system.
