The app is now testing AI-generated radio and a new tool to recognize songs by singing, humming or playing excerpts.

AI Radio is available to select Premium users in the US. They can create their own radio station by defining the music they want, for example asking for “upbeat pop hits” or “upbeat pop anthems.”

The new feature is similar to playlist-making tools that Spotify and Amazon Music are testing.

YouTube Music also has a new song recognition tool. Users can now search for songs by audio.

You can search, set or play the song title by clicking the waveform icon in the search section. Unlike Shazam, YouTube Music lets you find songs not only by playing the original, but also by humming or humming.
