Since January, sales of laptops in Russia have grown to 1.4 million units and 90 billion rubles. This is 10% more in units and a quarter in money compared to the same period in 2021. RB learned about this from the M.Video-Eldorado press service.
Laptops are popular with Russians who buy them for work, study or play. The company said the Russian market remains stable despite problems with supplies and a temporary slowdown in buying activity.
In April-June, laptop sales amounted to about 510 thousand units and 30 billion rubles. Chinese manufacturers' sales were at last year's level. They occupy 30% of the Russian market. In terms of screen size, 15- to 16-inch devices continue to take up the lion's share, at around 70%.
Currently, about 500 models of laptops are available on the company's networks: HP, Asus, Acer, Apple, Huawei, Honor, Lenovo and others.
