Rosselkhozbank (RSHB) has warned its clients about problems with payments from UnionPay cardholders abroad. The organization recommends withdrawing cash before July 19.

“From July 19, payments with UnionPay payment system cards issued by the Russian Agricultural Bank will be suspended abroad,” the credit institution said in a statement.

There I was advised to withdraw money before the indicated date and reminded of the daily limit of 500 thousand rubles or its equivalent in foreign currency.

The bank’s support clarified to RBC that clients located in Spain will be able to withdraw funds from ATMs and terminals of Deutsche Bank, Maccorp and Carrefour.

Rosselkhozbank, like many Russian credit institutions, has fallen under sectoral sanctions by the EU and Great Britain. The structure is disconnected from SWIFT.

However, in 2023, Rosselkhozbank was involved in the grain business; during its operation, the US Ministry of Finance allowed JPMorgan Bank to process payments for the Russian Agricultural Bank.
