Xiaomi has introduced two foldable smartphones: MIX Fold 4 and MIX Flip.

What do they have in common?

Both smartphones are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and have 12 or 16 GB of RAM. The power key has a built-in fingerprint scanner.

The additional system used is HyperOS, based on Android 14.

The main camera of the MIX Fold 4 and MIX Flip is equipped with 50 MP sensors. There is also a 50 MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. Leica tuning algorithms.

What’s unique about the MIX Fold 4

The MIX Fold 4 has a 6.56-inch external display and a 7.98-inch internal display with a resolution of 2488 x 2224 pixels. Both OLED displays have a refresh rate of 120Hz, a peak brightness of 3000 nits, HDR10+, HDR Vivid, and Dolby Vision.

The company claims that the smartphone can withstand 500,000 folds. It is also water-resistant according to the IPX8 standard.

The MIX Fold 4 has two additional cameras: a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a periscope camera with 5x zoom.

The device is equipped with a 5100 mAh battery. It supports fast 67 W wired charging and 50 W wireless charging.

What’s interesting about MIX Flip

This is the first Xiaomi flip phone. It has a large external screen measuring 4.01 inches, which actually takes up half of the back cover, covering two cameras on all sides.

This is the largest display among similar smartphones. It is an OLED with 120Hz support and a maximum brightness of 3000 nits.

There is a speaker and microphone at the top of this screen so that users can talk without opening the phone.

The main display has a diagonal of 6.68 inches. All other characteristics, including the resolution of 1.5K, are defined in them.

The battery has 4780 mAh, and the battery is charged via a wire at 67 W.
