Microsoft recently announced price increases for PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, and also introduced a new Game Pass Standard tier that doesn’t offer access to the company’s own games on launch day.

The FTC is calling the new $14.99 Game Pass Standard tier a “broken product.”

The statement alleges that Microsoft’s changes “harm consumers.” Meanwhile, the FTC has been sharpening its longtime grudge against Microsoft after it bought Activision Blizzard for $68.7 billion.
