He also said that an app store and an in-app browser that will support Web3 pages will be introduced in July. Soon the messenger will display the registration date and the primary country (for public accounts).
He also recalled the fight against scammers who aim to deceive new entrants into the cryptocurrency space. Widgets can be used to tag channels, creating a decentralized marketplace for third-party verification.
“Thanks to increased transparency and decentralization, Telegram users will learn more about the opportunities and dangers of this new world,” Durov said.
