Announced at a recent event in Los Angeles, AMD’s Ryzen AI processors are said to outperform the MacBook Air in multitasking, imaging, 3D rendering, and gaming, and outperform the Apple M3 Pro by 15% in Cinebench tests.

The new chips feature the Zen 5 architecture, which promises a 16 percent increase in instructions per clock and improved graphics performance thanks to RDNA 3.5.

The integrated AMD graphics are said to outperform some Qualcomm and Intel solutions and also support AAA games in Full HD. The company also claims that its Neural Processing Unit (NPU) performs 50 trillion floating-point operations per second.
