A Colombian woman took to her social networks to tell a strange story about Amazon e-commerce. The young woman reported that she bought a deep fryer and that the package contained not only the device but also a lizard.

The strange case was published last Friday (19) on TikTok and X (formerly Twitter), but went viral this weekend. Sofia Serrano, who lives in Medellín, the capital of Colombia, was the “victim” of the hoax.

According to him, the order was placed with Amazon in the United States. The reptile was inside a large bag containing the product.

“My maid took the fryer and decided to cut open the bag to unwrap it. She then went to put the bag back in the box and realized the animal was inside the bag,” Serrano recalled.

He stated that he was with three women, including his maid, when this incident occurred, and none of them dared to take the animal out of the bag.

So he called in professionals to help him with the strange and unusual situation.

The reptile even has a name

After the lizard was removed from the box, it was placed in a bucket and then in another box. On TikTok, Sofía Serrano says she only gave it water because she “knew the conditions it came from” [na entrega]Because it came from the United States in a completely sealed box.”

The young woman joked about the situation, saying the case “brought up a new fear.” She interacted with users on X and revealed that the lizard’s name was “Yepeta.” One person even stated that Yepeta was a “creep with a visa.”

Despite all the fun, the Colombian woman complained that the Amazon had not come up with any solutions to the problem and did not know what to do with the animal.

“The only solution was to refund the money and return the Air Fryer, these do not solve our problem at all as we need the product. [Caso fossem devolver] “We will still have to cover the shipping costs since we are in Colombia and we have to ship it to the United States. That seems like a very serious problem to me,” he concludes.
