Elon Musk announced on his old Twitter account that Tesla will start using humanoid robots in factories starting next year. Billionaire predicts vending machines will be widespread in more businesses by 2026.
“Tesla will have low-production, truly useful humanoid robots for internal use next year, and if all goes well, high-production for other companies in 2026,” Musk said.
HE Elon Musk’s statement is extremely vague does not provide further information about the integration of humanoid robots into the company. It is not known which sector will be entered and which model will be used.

There is a possibility that the billionaire is talking about the humanoid robot Optimus developed by Tesla. The project was presented under the nickname “Tesla Bot” in 2021, but so far it has not definitely reached the market.
Elon Musk has previously predicted that robots will be more valuable than cars. He predicts that the machines will be mass-produced and that each unit will cost less than $20,000 to produce.

It’s worth noting that Elon Musk’s announcements don’t always bear fruit, and the billionaire uses his social media presence to make headlines for his own companies.
In April this year, Musk announced that Optimus would be released by the end of the year and reach a mass market in 2025 — a launch that was delayed considering Monday’s tweet (22).
That’s why it’s important to take the billionaire’s speech with caution. While expectations for humanoid robots are high, it can take a long time for models to reach the market and be used in factories or companies.
