The owner of the Okko online cinema, Sergei Shishkin, has received 100% of the Telesport television operator. The founder of Telesport, Pyotr Makarenko, is under criminal investigation at the request of Sberbank. The transaction to transfer the share was made at the market price, Shishkin said.

Sergey Shishkin, the owner and CEO of the Okko online cinema, has become the sole owner of the Telesport Group TV broadcasting operator, RBC reported with reference to Shishkin.

According to Shishkin, the transaction was made at the market price. Previously, Shishkin owned a 1% stake in Telesport, 99% belonged to Telesport founder Pyotr Makarenko.

Makarenko is under criminal investigation for large-scale fraud. The case is related to the broadcasting of sports events; according to Sberbank, the damage in the case amounts to 5.7 billion rubles.

Telesport has the rights to broadcast the Olympic Games, the upcoming European Football Championship and other events in Russia.
