Google has announced three new Gemini-powered AI features coming to Google Chrome for desktop with a new update.
So, Google Lens has been added, with which you can search for what users are promoting on the browser screen. You just need to select an image or text, and a special search will open. There is a definition of the sidebar based on your request. It can mix results with video images or text queries with links, compare prices for goods, and so on. Sometimes a summary from Google Gemini may appear there, but it will only work in the US.
The second function is Comparison of tabs. It interacts with open tabs, combining them in one area. For example, you opened different characteristics of one product in different tabs – I will show them in one table in one window. Or it will show a price comparison.
The third function allows you to quickly search for information in the browser history. Just send the request you found, and the browser will show you the most relevant links.
